In 2019, with a strong economy, nearly 900 Brunswick County families faced eviction or foreclosure and more than 450 of our public school children were identified as homeless. Imagine what these numbers will be in 2020 given the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Brunswick Partnership for Housing (BPH) is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization. It is a transitional housing agency providing eligible families with a safe, stable environment in which to live for 9-18 months.
From the very beginning of their admission, families will be served by coordinating support services that best meet their needs. Importantly, they will meet with a trained support advocate to develop an action plan including personal and financial goals needed to get them back on their feet as soon as possible. Together they will regularly review the action plan and monitor progress toward a permanent home.
