Mission Statement

 

The St. James Fire Department, Inc. is a non-profit, tax exempt volunteer organization established to provide fire prevention and protection, as well as First Responder Emergency Medical Services to residents of the Town of St. James and the St. James Rural Fire District, as defined by North Carolina and Brunswick County officials.  Further, we have a mutual aid agreement with all other Brunswick County fire departments, which defines mutual support for fire incidents.

The St. James Fire Police provide traffic control at all fire and EMS calls. They also ensure the safety of the public and volunteers at special events such as the semi-annual ground cover delivery.
