Chief Justice Cheri Beasley

CHIEF JUSTICE CHERI BEASLEY (SEAT 1) is the 29th Chief Justice of the North Carolina Supreme Court and is the first African-American woman to serve in that capacity. With 20 years of experience on the bench, Justice Beasley believes all North Carolinians should have access to swift and fair justice, no matter who they are or where they live.

Judge Lucy Inman
SEAT 2
JUDGE LUCY INMAN (SEAT 2) has served in courtrooms across North Carolina for a decade, first in the Superior Court and on the Court of Appeals since 2014 where she authored more than 400 opinions. Judge Inman’s experience makes her uniquely qualified to advance the cause of justice on the Supreme Court.

Justice Mark A. Davis
SEAT 4
JUSTICE MARK A. DAVIS (SEAT 4) was appointed to the North Carolina Supreme Court in 2019 after serving on the Court of Appeals for six years He previously served as General Counsel to Governor Bev Perdue and spent 17 years as an attorney in the private and public sectors. Justice Davis is the first Jewish member of the Supreme Court.
